The Heron Haus in Portland is owned by Kip's parents, Pam and Carl. They are graciously letting us use their beautiful home and business for our big day.
The Heron Haus is a 10,000 square foot English Tudor home designed by noted Portland architect Joseph Jacobberger in 1904. There is a secret dumb waiter in the bench seat at the foot of the main stairs that was originally used for hauling firewood from the basement. The third floor can still only be reached by the narrow servant's staircase.
Heron Haus is listed on the National Historic Register.
The B&B is perfectly located in Portland's northwest hills, just above historic Nob Hill with its many shops and boutiques and Portland's best restaurants. And Portland has some AMAZING restaurants and eateries --- visit the
